There are several devices that help people with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, and patients who struggle to stand up on their own. These devices are engineered and designed solely for this purpose. While they do help lift the patient, they also take up a lot of space in the house, are very expensive, and above all – do not respect the patient.
Sit-Up was designed with the aim of solving these issues. Sit-Up is a seat attached to an armchair, connected to two pillows that inflate at a 35-degree angle to an intermediate standing position, helping a single caretaker to lift the patient without a great deal of physical effort. The seat does not take up a lot of space, it is not expensive, and gives the patient the respect he deserves.
