The industrial designer finds himself in the middle – between the mechanism of mass production and man – and is aware of both. He is situated between predation and consumerism. While he has to be creative, the person who produces his products has to follow an almost mechanical action. This project critically examines the role of the designer, offering another way to look at iconic objects – a desk lamp that has grown tired of its own duplication and a clock that can barely keep up. Human objects from the duplication mechanism.
