The project carries out an aesthetic research on rust stains and surface deformation of metal rings. Rings in different diameters were subjected to heavy stamping that deformed their shape, stretching the inside of the metal and exposing it to acids that accelerated its rusting process. The rusted rings were piled into an object, locked and sealed by casting plastic into their inner space. As the rust will continue the metal oxidation process until its eventual disintegration, the cast plastic will remain as the vessel’s skeleton and final remains.
